The Victorian Certificate of Education is a senior secondary certificate that is recognised internationally.

The VCE has a strong pathway connection to tertiary education and paid employment. Upon completing their VCE, students receive an Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) which they have the option of using to apply for University courses.

Monbulk College offers a range of subject choices to ensure that a variety of pathways are available to students. Some students may choose to include vocational studies (VET) in their program. For details about the subjects on offer, please see the Senior Pathways Handbook.

VCE subjects are most commonly studied at Year 11 and Year 12, however, students at Monbulk College are offered the opportunity to ‘fast track’ and study a Unit 1 and Unit 2 subject in Year 10.
