Monbulk College is a medium sized co-educational college that provides pathways for students from Year 7 to Year 12. We offer Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE), Head Start, Vocational Education and Training (VET) programs and the Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning (VCAL) to ensure it meets individual student’s career directions.

The college was established in 1963 and is a single campus, co-educational college located in the picturesque Dandenong Ranges. The college has a strong co-curricular program which includes opportunities for students to travel overseas to our sister schools in Japan and Germany, host students from sister schools, become involved in surf-lifesaving, study Instrumental Music, engage in inter-school sport, join our volleyball program or be part of our biennial college production.

The college comprises of two sub schools. A Junior School (Years 7-9) where the focus is on a core curriculum which builds skills and students are encouraged to try everything, and a Senior School (Years 10-12) where students are given choice to pursue their passions and study the relevant subjects for their future studies, whether at University, TAFE or in an apprenticeship.

We have received multiple grants from the Victorian State Government Budget to continue our upgrade and modernisation of facilities across three stages. The construction of Stage 1 was completed in 2018 and Stage 2 in 2019. Construction of Stage 3 began in 2020 and is expected to be completed 2022. Our college values are central to all that happens at the college for all members of the school community.
