At Monbulk College, we take pride in fostering a vibrant student leadership culture that places student voice at the heart of school life. Across all year levels, students are encouraged to step into leadership roles that allow them to make meaningful contributions, shape the school environment, and support their peers.
Our leadership model is designed to be inclusive and progressive, giving students the chance to grow as leaders over time. Whether they’re just starting secondary school or preparing to graduate, students can step into roles that match their interests and capabilities.
Senior School and Middle School Captains
These leaders play a visible and influential role in the school. They represent student views in key forums, help lead whole-school events, and work alongside staff to support initiatives that benefit the entire community.
Senior and Middle School House Captains
With four houses; Valley, Forest, Ranges, Rivers across the school, our House Captains lead in both sporting and academic competitions, building house pride and encouraging healthy teamwork
Senior and middle School Sports Captains
Assist in whole school sporting events
Student Committee Captains
Students also lead one of five action-based committees, each focused on a specific area of school life:
Student Committee Vice Captains
Assist the Student Committee Captains
These committees develop and run projects that directly respond to the needs and interests of students, whether that’s promoting mental health, championing eco-friendly practices, or celebrating diversity.
School Council Representatives
Amplify student voice by contributing ideas, attending school council meetings, and helping improve the school community.
