Moving into the final year of secondary school is a significant step. Students are encouraged to take the time to consider the range of pathway options available to them so that they can make an informed decision about their course for Year 12.
Students at Monbulk College study five VCE subjects in year 12 while those in VCE VM attend two days of classes, one day of TAFE and two days of Structured Workplace Learning or SBAT.
A range of resources, supports and information is available to students to help them research and reflect on career, pathway, further education and employment options they are interested in. Career Action Plans and the Morrisby Report are a good starting point. Other resources include the VTAC Website, teachers, and the Careers Manager, Ms Graco.
The 2026 Senior Pathways Handbook is an resource to help students in selecting their pathway.
