Monbulk College is committed to providing students with access to current and relevant careers information and advice.
Individual careers advice is available to our students from our Careers Manager and individual course counselling is provided through the pathways planning process. Students are supported to develop their understanding of careers and pathway options through a variety of programs and initiatives provided by the College, including career action plans, careers education at Year 9 and Morrisby profiling.
Career Action Plans
Career action plans are working documents that students create and update with insights about themselves and their careers learning. At Monbulk College, our students use an online platform, My Career Portfolio, to develop their Career Action Plans and develop a portfolio related to their careers planning. Students begin forming their career action plan in Year 7 and continue to develop this document as they move through the College to Year 12.
